Vintage DC-1 For Comparision

The reproduction was produced from SWTPC red/blue line drawing

This was the first floppy controller released by SWTPC.  It has been released as a close copy of the SWTPC board with a solder mask or silkscreen. 

You should only consider the DC-1 if repairing or needing to keep a system as original as possible.  You should use the DC-2 or PT FD-1 if you need a working board using a 1771 controller chip.  Either the FD-1 or DC-2 fixed some problems of the DC-1.
