Dress Panel

This is a replacement for the Altair 680 Turnkey front panel.  It's being called a replacement since it was created from a MITS schematic.  Internet images of the Turnkey PCB panel are almost non-existent so this board and panel were styled to resemble an Altair panel.  The layout of switches and LEDs were estimated by measuring a printout of an internet photo. While the circuitry is the same there is no possibility that the location of the holes will match an original panel.  However as a pair, the dress panel and PCB can be used in an original Altair computer.

This board and dress panel can be used to create a lower cost Altair 680, replace a damaged set of original Turnkey PCB and dress panels, or to convert an Altair 680B to a Turnkey model.

Dress Panels

The dress panel is made from FR4 material.  Since the turnkey model is a budget friendly model, the dress panel will not be offered in aluminum.
