This was the second board produced by Peripheral Technology. It was designed in 1983.  This product was the last board produced by Peripheral Technology for the SS-50 bus. Peripheral Technology then went on to produce a line of single board computers using the 6809 processor.

• Supports up to four drives
• Single and double density operation
• SS-30 size card
• Can be configured with 4 or 16 addresses per I/O slot
• Can be used with 6800 and 6809 systems
• Uses WD2797
• Compatible with SWTPC DC-4 controller

Price List Hardware      

A revised board, the FD-2A is available.  It is functionally equivalent to the FD-2, but uses easier to obtain IC's and is less expensive.

However the FD-2 can still be purchased. The FD-2 now has a solder mask and silkscreen.
