This is a modern replacement for the SWTPC MP-S serial board. It has DB-9F, DB9-M, and a Molex connector like SWTPC used on the MP-S. Only one RS232 connector can be used at a time. The multiple connector choices are to allow for maximum flexibility and ease of connecting an RS-232 cable between your computer and terminal. The DB-9 connectors support USB to RS232 cables to allow a cable to plug between the PT-S and a USB port on your PC. This board uses an MC68B50 to support 2MHZ operation.
