The PT-146818 is an SS30 clock board for the SWTPC 6800 or 6809 system. It can be used in 1MHZ or 2MHZ systems. In a FLEX system the RTC is used to set the date. The SET6818 utility allows the date and time to be set in either 12 or 24 hour format. SET6818 will also display the date and time. When used with OS9 the PT-146818 will supply a source of periodic interrupts. OS9 uses these interrupts to switch tasks and to keep its clock. OS9's clock is a software clock, and the PT-146818 is used to set the initial date/time at power up and is a source of periodic interrupts.
